The one-tray method
Install an under-desk tray, mount a power strip inside it, and drop every brick into that zone. From the floor, you should mostly see one clean power cord to the wall.
Label before you bundle
Mark laptop, monitor, and lamp cables before sleeves go on. Future you will thank present you when something needs replacing.
Vertical overflow
If the desk surface is still busy, move notebooks and headphones to a wall shelf in the primary reach zone—about eye level when seated.
